\FAQs

\WHY Is my computer running slowly?

Computers run slowly for several reasons - the most common ones being old hardware, low storage space, and computer viruses. None of these are necessarily reason enough to replace your computer; simply upgrading your hard drive to a solid-state drive may be enough to make your computer faster than when you first brought it in. We offer full diagnostics and tailor our repairs to each customer's individual needs.

\How long do your computer services take?

Simple issues are often resolved within 3 hours, though more complex or time-consuming repairs will require the computer to be checked in for servicing. When checking in a single computer, our repairs are usually complete within 24-48 hours after drop off. After our diagnostic is complete, we will call you with a more exact estimate.

\what do I need to bring when dropping off my device?

Please bring your power cord and any peripherals that are currently giving you issues. If your mouse, keyboard, and monitor are working fine at home, then don't worry about bringing them in; we have plenty here!

\I am not the most tech-literate person. Do you tutor?

We offer private tutoring on Windows and Office software, including SharePoint and the Power Platform. Please give us a call to schedule a lesson; we hold lessons for general consumers at our storefront on Cypress Mill Road and offer business training which can be held at a venue of your choosing.

\Do you service businesses?

We do service businesses! We have certified technicians ready to repair computers for your business. Business repairs are completed on a first call, first served basis, so please give us a call as soon as you experience any issues.

\Do you service apple products?

We currently service Mac and MacBooks, but we do not service iPod, iPhone, and iPad products.

\Do you make house calls?

We offer a pick up and drop off service for residential customers, but we do not perform repairs in residential homes. We cannot carry with us all of the tools necessary to safely diagnose and repair your computer, but we will pick it up, repair it, and bring it back to you for an additional fee.

\How much do you charge to look at my computer and tell me what's wrong with it?

We charge a $20 diagnostic fee for any computer brought to us for repair. This fee is due even if you decide it is not economical to proceed with repairs after a full diagnosis is given. The diagnostic fee is waived for any computer which was already been repaired but is still experiencing issues related to the initial repair.

\Do I need an appointment?

You do not need an appointment! We have staff waiting to diagnose and repair your device Monday to Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM and on Saturdays from 8:00 AM to 11:00 AM.

\Can you still help me if I can't explain the issue?

Absolutely. When you bring in your computer, we use a proven troubleshooting process and all the tools required to accurately diagnose your issue. Simply describe the issue to the best of your ability and we'll take it from there.

\Can you offer me a rental while my device is with you?

We do not offer loaner devices at this time. Please let us know if this is important to you as we may be able to offer this at a limited capacity in the future.

\Do you have parts for sale?

We keep parts on hand for repair and do sell parts, though our commercial inventory is limited. Give us a call to see if we have the parts you need on hand.

\Do you do rush jobs?

We do offer Expedited Service for an additional fee, but not all services are eligible for Expedited Service. We strive to repair all computers as quickly as possible, but will never forego data security or best practices to get a repair done faster.
